I just recently made the Maritime in a woven cotton, making it a peplum top according to Liesl’s instructions from the blog last week. I did use one size bigger than I measured since I wasn’t using a knit, but I didn’t think about extra seam allowance before I cut my fabric. I’d like to make my next Gallery tunic a sleeveless version. The last time I left the sleeves off of a shirt pattern (not a Liesl + Co), it ended up being too tight in the underarm area. Any tips to avoid this? Maybe it was just that pattern, but thought I’d ask here to see what you all had to say! Thanks 🙂

I used Cal Patch’s videos on Creativebug to learn to crochet, and I’m “hooked” too! It’s so fun! Since then, I’ve bought a couple classes on Craftsy and have started making crochet hats and amigurami too. I highly recommend Stacey Trock’s classes.
