I am a web designer and software engineer by trade, but have been interested in sewing for a long time—not persued for no particular reason.  I am now married 15 years and have an 8 year old daughter and 9 year old son.

My daughter is getting ready for her First Holy Communion and my wife needed something sewn for a project she was working for to have for the communion—I jumped at the chance to get involved.  My daughter and I went to Walmart and purchased the small Brother machine and since sewing a few stitches, I am hooked!!  I told my wife that I can feel it in my bones that this is something I will excell at—of course she is fully supportive and mildly amused 🙂

I found this site and after watching for videos I can count, the videos shown here are by far my favorite.  So as of today, April, 25 2018 I ordered the Block Dress Book and will be diving in with both feet.  I look forward to being a part of the online seeing community. Thank you 🙂
