I finally squeezed in a B&W project! Going to Flickr to upload it now. But you can also see it in my blog post here: http://skirtfixation.com/2015/10/star-wars-t-shirt-diy-kids-clothes-week-day-3/
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationThere is some stretch to the pleather. I tried it, and ended up ripping it off and using regular fabric. It’ll be on the blog Thursday, and I’m so excited to reveal!
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationI’m in! But I’m going to try to sew something for my boys…
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationI logged onto the forum tonight looking for the answer to this EXACT question! So glad for this resource once again!!
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationOh, and that cute fabric is called Brambleberry Ridge.
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationOkay! The contest part of this edition of All The Skirts is officially over (you can check if you’re a winner here: http://skirtfixation.com/2015/05/giveaway-winners-all-the-skirts-olivers-and-fat-quarter-shop-wrap-up/) So if you’ve ever wanted to see ALL the Oliver+S skirt patterns in one place, you should check it out! We will be back next week with one more review of the Butterfly skirt pattern, but there is a sneak peek photo of it in that post linked above. Thanks to everyone who sewed along, this was the best edition yet of All The Skirts. I decided in the course of sewing all the Oliver+S skirts that if I could only sew patterns from one pattern company from here on out, it would be Oliver+S!
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationNow there’s only 1 Oliver+S skirt pattern left for us to sew! This week we sewed up the Badminton Skort and Dress. Yep, another layering duo. We added sleeves to the dress, and we’d love to know what you think of them. And NOW it’s the last week to link up your own Oliver+S sewing creations and enter the Rafflecopter giveaway. Because we all could use some more Oliver+S patterns, right!?! How’s the sewing going for you? Will the deadline motivate you to sew up a whole bunch of skirts over the holiday weekend?
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationMake that 2 weeks! You think I’d know when my own giveaway ends!!!
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationWhen I was making the Swing Sew Tunic I got the straps twisted! Talented, I know!!!

9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationAlright! Another Oliver+S skirt sewn! This time it was the Swing Set skirt and tunic. And I used my favorite fabric line ever. Is it wrong for me to want one in my size? Also, I think my drawstring ended up too short…what do you think? Thanks to everyone who is sewing up Oliver+S patterns and linking them up; it’s getting to be quite a link party! We only have 2 skirts left to sew, and you only have one more week to link up. Of course you can sew Oliver+S patterns anytime, but the link up will close in less than a week! Thanks for everyone who has supported us in this endeavor, it’s been quite a haul!!!
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationAnd we squeezed in the lazy days skirt! In the cutest/nerdiest chess embellished fabric ever!!! You can see it here on our blog. How’s it going for you? Have any skirts sewn? Have any skirts left to sew?
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationOkay size 5 project people! This week I will be embarking on the Swingset Pattern. Who want to join me?
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationAnd now we’ve sewn 7! You can see the Hopscotch Skirt Pattern on our blog here. Let us just warn you, we got a little creative and changed up a few things. How did your hopscotch go @justsewit? Hopefully everyone took advantage of that Fat Quarter Shop discount code (hurry if you didn’t there’s only until May 11th!) and are armed with fabric for your next Oliver+S skirt pattern! Onward, the end in nearing…
9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationI have lots of knits waiting for the right use…
That said, Art Gallery Knits are very very awesome! For tops, skirts, whatever.9 years ago LINKAudrey @skirtfixationMarching on through the Oliver+S skirt patterns! We made the Sunday Brunch skirt & jacket. You can see them on our blog. Also, we have a treat for you…use the sale code in that post at Fat Quarter Shop for an exclusive discount on fabric to make all your Oliver+S patterns. It’d mean a lot to us if you help us thank them for sponsoring this edition of All The Skirts by placing an order (using the discount code, of course!) before Monday, May 11th.
