Here is the second one, I am really happy with it as well. Thank you Liesl, my little girl loves her new ‘skirts’ as she calls them! Next up I have some fabric with bunnies and another with Easter eggs, just need to decide on which O+S pattern I’m making next!

I made a playtime tunic for Valentine’s and figured while I was at it I would do a second to match a pair of red polka dot playtime leggings I had already made. It was my first time making the tunic and I love it, it is just so adorable!

I’ve just been digging and have found that there is indeed an issue due to a recent software upgrade that is keeping people from uploading attachments in the forums. Poor timing for this bug to emerge, right? I’ve reported the bug, and we’ll get an update for it installed as soon as one is available.

Sew Alongs 9 years ago@jessamyb Oh dear. I’ll do a blog post about interfacing to explain it a bit more–I just realized we’ve never really covered it in depth, so that might be helpful to you. In the meantime, however, I think you could remove it from the front placket by just unpicking the final seams that finished the placket. Then you could tear out the interfacing…[Read more]

Sew Alongs 9 years ago@mariajsanroman, I love French seems too. They give such a nice finish, but they can indeed offer additional challenges. I’ll post a photo of a Gallery Dress I sewed. It’s dark here, so the light isn’t good but I think you can still see how I clipped into the seam at the dot to allow the two edges to separate for the hem. Does that help? As I…[Read more]
