Sarvi, a little bird tells me that “washed like a rag” means it washed well; it’s sturdy. And “goffer” means to fluff out. ๐

My kid has got arms like an ape
Thereโs no way sheโll fit in this cape
Iโve lengthened and lengthened
Reinforced seams and strengthened
But it’s now whipped my arms into shape!Sewing friends sure are the best

Sarvi, I use the large messenger bag as is ๐ I can fit an A4 notebook, wallet, phone, drink bottle and lunch. And there’s often a little space left for some shopping, fabric of course ๐
This is the 3rd one I’ve made myself, it’s the bag I use every day. I must get photos of the original one I made that shows the wear marks ๐ I’ve made 3…[Read more] -

Heidi do you enlarge the larger size, or is it big enough as-is?
I’m a deer in headlights at the moment, frozen in between numerous baby projects and not knowing what to make for which baby.

Big hugs, Marsha!
Like Shelley, if only I were closer and could help with some of the practical things! Hang in there, give the kids a big hug from me. I’ll be praying for you and your family. -

Heck, I have no idea how you are coping with this and with a new baby too. My thoughts are with you, and I wish there was some practical help I could offer.
