Yes, that was my idea but I underestimated how much I’d need. Shoukd have gotten a 2 metre table instead of a 1.5m but there is such a thing as an add on. It is just a matter of getting to IKEA to do it.

I have just had the biggest surprise! My own lively baby, aged nine months has taken it upon herself to stand UNAIDED! If but for about five seconds! I don’t know if I should laugh or cry😱😩 my older babies never bothered doing this until closer to their first birthday😕

Mardee isn’t theatre work fabulous?! I worked on a voluntary basis in my late teens for an Opera company and it was the best fun (but unfortunately not in costuming). @dubhels2003 night feeder here also, so definitely not alone (and again don’t feel lonely). So glad you popped in to say hi and fill us in on what has been happening. Once things settle down further, I am sure sewing will return – everything needs some adjustment time I guess.

@AmyF I really hope it comes together for you. I was going to say measuring the back of the little girl you are sewing for would enable you to make sure you need to adjust in that area. Sometimes little girls can carry upper body weight – everyone is different in how they develop.
