Addie, good question! There is quite a bit of design ease in this pattern, so you are correct that you may not need to do the FBA. If you’ve checked the fit and it seems to drape fine, you’re probably safe to go ahead with it as is. I have made the Sailboat and the Hopscotch in denim and both were worn heavily. I do like the idea of a Swingset though!

What about the Hopscotch or the Butterfly? Personally I like the swingset in lightweight fabrics.

Flickr doesn’t seem to be the place to go with photos as much as it used to be. I use Instagram more now and like that I can make it completely private except to those I add. I…[Read more]

I’m so sorry, Masha 🙁 It hasn’t happened to me yet, but I constantly get other people who think I am overcautious sharing photos of my kid publicly (grandparents) and it is so tiresome to have to prove to each one individually that there really are creeps out there.
