I’m totally new to the world of adult sewing, and I’m hoping that this is one of those obvious things that everyone knows (and can tell me, cause I don’t).

I’m trying to find the correct pattern size to use to make bust adjustments. As per all the advice I can see, I have taken my high bust measurement. None of the patterns I have offers a high bust measurement in the size chart. What aspect of the pattern do I compare my high bust measurement to in order to determine my size, pre-FBA?

Use your high bust measurement as your bust measurement. As an example, for the Gallery Tunic my full bust measurement is a size 20, but my high bust measurement is a 16. I sewed the 16 and added a full bust adjustment. This means the shoulders fit far better. Does that help?
