I have clicked on ‘intermediate’ because I reckon there is always loads more to learn. I have had a micro home-based wedding dress business for a number of years where, having taught myself pattern making, I have designed and made a number of dresses for all sizes and ages. On the whole my designs are vintage inspired, mainly from the 1910-1950’s. Some of them can be viewed on my A Rare Vision FB page. The name of my business was inspired by a quote from A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare: “I have had a most rare vision …”
I love sewing and gardening – don’t lots of people?! – and am fortunate to have two grand daughters who appreciate having clothes made for them.
I am British born and Swiss by marriage.
