I recently saw a retail jacket similar to the Sunday Brunch pattern done in French Terry. Has anyone used this fabric to make the jacket?

I haven’t, but I also recently saw some Sunday-Brunch-esque jackets done in other fabrics I wouldn’t have thought of, like some plush knits and even what looked like a very fluffy boucle or maybe a very light, drapey fake fur, bit hard to tell from the photo. Surprisingly cute! If you have the fabric, go for it!

If the terry has stretch you may want to stabilise the shoulder seams and use a woven for the facings but other then that, I agree with Sarvi.

    Have a go!

Thanks, Sarvi and Nicole. I’m working one up in corduroy just now, but when I finish I’ll try the terry. This is a great little pattern!
