Strawberry-print fabric?

Sarvi @Sarvi
Have you got a favorite you’ve seen around lately? There’ve been some signs of impending strawberry picking season and I want to get a jumpstart on a new dress.

I personally like the Sandi Henderson Meadowsweet strawberry fields print.:)

I seen this over here, http://www.hawthornethreads.com/fabric/designer/creative_thursday/locally_grown/wild_strawberries_in_natural
I would love to use it for a dress for Sarah. She loves, loves strawberries!

The Meadowsweet Strawberry Fields is a favorite of mine still too, maybe you could find some still! I used one color way for a special dress a few years ago.

I’m a sucker for this, which in part is because I had a sundress my mum made for me in something pretty much identical. Plus this is very cheap. I think I’m going to have to buy some now, though our strawberry season is months away. Thank you Sarvi!
(Apologies if the link doesn’t work, I’m not quite sure how to make it happen on husband’s mac…)

Alewives Fabrics usually has some nice strawberry prints. Right now I see this one http://www.alewivesfabrics.com/fabrics%3Fcat_id%3D68?cat_id=11&prod_id=1986
and this one http://www.alewivesfabrics.com/fabrics?cat_id=105&prod_id=3466
I have some of that Sandi Henderson strawberry fabric in cream, and I have to say I prefer the pink colorway.
And, of course, Liberty has beautiful strawberry prints if that’s in the budget!

I just picked this one up locally a few weeks ago: http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=9956f480-64c4-4fa1-8d4e-16aa3df9f694

I made daughter a Valentine dress that was (Gasp!) not pink but had strawberries all over.

The fabric is actually mostly green, flannel so suitable for a cold/unpredictable-weather dress… “Strawbeary” by Kym Bowles for Marcus Brothers Textiles, Inc. according to the selvege, but it doesn’t come up in a Google search. (I still have about 3 yards of it, if you like…)

Wow, such a variety and all awesome — thank you so much, ladies!
mkhs, Liberty is not in the budget but can definitely be on the wishlist!

Oh, it’s never in my budget, either– but one can dream! I do have two old pieces of tana lawn given to me by a friend of my mother’s, and I dole them out in tiny pieces.

Heath Ross’s new line features wonderful strawberries in quilting cotton and knit!

Yes, I just got a charm pack and have been admiring the strawberries especially.

Is this too modern? I made my little girl a summer dress with this Hoodie fabric last Summer and she looked adorable in it.
(sorry for the long link..could find a better one and this one seems to be a laminate…)

Thank you! I actually just bought some laminate for next year’s raincoat, but wow, that is a really incredible selection that they have! I wish the prices were a bit lower, but they have laminates I have not seen anywhere else!

I picked up some cute Cath Kidston strawberry fabric on a blue background while in London. I am thinking of doing a summery Sunday Brunch with it.
