My First Roller Skate!

    Just finished my first roller skate dress and can certainly see why it is so popular! Looking forward to starting another…the only difficulty I had was marking the lines for the elastic. By the time I got to that step my chalk lines had disappeared! I used an adorable fabric from Sarah Jane studios “Just Stay Little” line — little dresses and shoes — with pink and white polka dots for the contrast collar. Can’t wait to see my granddaughter wearing it!

    I have not made this dress yet but I did just receive one in an international hand me down, it is gorgeous!

    I wonder if basting the elastic lines in place would work
