Hi all – I’m recently back into sewing after about a 10 year hiatus. I discovered O+S patterns, this forum, and the Flickr group and have been dying to get my supplies all together and get started. I’m now the proud owner of four O+S patterns, and have so much stash fabric that I could clothe my 20-month old till she goes to high school.

My question is – does anyone have a recommended source for some cool/cute labels? I’d like something that I could use as a signature label on my sewn clothing….I see some in the Flickr group but don’t know where to get some….thanks in advance!

Good question! I personally have bought labels from WorldSaleLabel on Etsy. I bought the size tags in three different sizes 2t,3t,and 4t. It was about $17 for 50 of each, it’s cheaper than buying a multi-size combo pack. I wanted to get personalized labels to go with them, but chickened out on the designing part and haven’t followed through. It did take 3 or 4 weeks to arrive from China but now that I have them I love them, no more mystery clothes in our drawers! However, here are a few blog posts with different sources I have had bookmarked while I am trying to come up with a design for my labels. Anyone on here good at logos?

I used bigapplefabrics on etsy for size labels. They are in the U.S., and shipping is super fast. I was able to mix and match 50 size labels for $4.95 + $1.75 shipping.

I did use worldsalelabel for small tab labels that I attach to the outside of the clothes I make (when I remember, that is!). I just designed something really simple, a letter and a circle. I think they also do labels that are just text, so depending on what you want on your label, you don’t necessarily have to do any sort of design. The labels did take a while to get finalized, made and then shipped. But I didn’t need them right away, so no biggie. I was really happy with the labels.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I just finished my first sailboat skirt…so absolutely adorable!
