I’m working on the ice cream blouse. I am at the point of attaching the back yoke to the bodice, but can’t figure out how to make it pretty. How does this work?

Do I need to unpick a few stitches that hold the inner and outer yokes together? I’ve looked at a couple of tutorials, but I’m still not understanding how everything gets tucked in.

    Help!

My apologies if you have and it was not helpful.

I had not seen yours. The bar tack is definitely helpful. I may just have to monkey with it a bit. I should probably be trimming even closer to the stitching line. I will be brave.

From memory you will need to clip. If you are nervous,re-inforce the stitch that you are snipping too.

If mine looks too dodgy I sew a label over it.

Thanks, Nicole, for the bar tack idea! I too was stumped at this point…
