Elastic for shorts

    FYI – The pattern back calls for 3/4″ elastic but in the directions #9 says cut a length of 1/2″ elastic that’s half the child’s waist. I can’t believe I actually did this, knowing full well I bought 3/4″ for this.

    Use 3/4″. That works best.

    I used 1/2-inch buttonhole elastic and it worked well. Honestly, I usually just use whatever I already have on hand and adjust the casing as needed.
