Yep, I’m also a blogger. I started it as a way to keep track of my sewing projects, and I also have a page with a to-do list – I find that it helps keep me on track to get it down in black and white. I also love to cook and bake, and I post a lot about those adventures.

I have a creative family blog, but I haven’t blogged since February, since my husband walked out on us on Valentine’s day unexpectantly (please pray for his heart to soften & him to seek preatment for his PTSD). I need to start again, since it’s something I enjoy a great deal. It’s a newer blog, my older more established blog is closed.

Oh my Jenn, what a terrible thing to happen. I will absolutely say a prayer for your family!

Jenn, I’ll definitely pray for you and your husband. I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this.

Thanks ladies. After he called and told the kids goodnight tonight he and I spoke briefly on the phone and he asked about going to marriage counseling with me. Together. I want to run outside and shout my joy for everyone to hear.

We have a long way to go. It may take 6 months, it may take a year.

On a side note, I start college fulltime this summer on the post-9/11 GI Bill (I’m a veteran) and am planning on majoring in fashion design for children. I’m nervous, excited, and a little overwelmed.

    I have a blog too http://www.bred2make.blogspot.com

Mostly about sewing but also about family life on our farm in Ireland. Also about raising four children, including toddler twins. Not that I am an expert on any of these subjects….I am learning on the job!

Jenn…I am glad to hear that there is good news about your situation. I wish you both well with your counseling.

scgoble – I’ve seen your blog a few times and you use such nice materials! That looks like Atlanta in your picture? I will be visiting my parents in Georgia this summer – do you have any recomendations for fabric stores in the ATL or North Georgia area?

Yes, I am in Atlanta! Whipstitch fabrics on Marietta Street here in the city is where I get most all of my fabrics. It is a wonderful store. I admit I don’t know much about stores out in the ‘burbs, but I have heard good things about Sew Bee it in Ringgold (way up near the TN border). Enjoy your visit! -Camille

Thanks! I’ll give it a try when I’m in town.
