I was looking at my Hanna Andersson catalog last inght when I saw this: http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC%7c34%7c3%7c24%7c25%7c2%7c%7c&simg=38296_35H
Hmmm, again I see similarities in Liesl’s garments. It’s so funny when you come across such things! I just had to chuckle!

Hmm, and I just saw this one: http://www.bellabliss.com/product/Jaquelyn_Dress/dresses_and_jumpers
They got poor Sugar City too: http://www.bellabliss.com/product/Brooke_Dress/dresses_and_jumpers
Well, they’ve effectively lost me as a customer — I can already sew myself what they’re offering!
13 years ago LINKThat’s interesting. All the details on that dress look pretty much identical to the School Photo Dress, don’t they? And this one looks just like the Playdate Dress:

I came across this one in Crewcuts a few weeks ago. Similar to Book Report. I love that pattern so much I was tempted to buy the Crewcuts dress too!
13 years ago LINKI was amused to see the J. Crew dress as it’s similar but clearly not the same. I’m not at all amused by the Bella Bliss dresses, though.

I quite agree Liesl. The only change that I can see that is clearly different about th bella bliss dress are the sleeves, other than that this is the Playdate dress through and through.

It’s beyond copying, it’s stealing! Both dresses are O+S patterns, the only thing changed is the sleeves.

I’ve seen more variation on both dresses in the flicker pool than in those bella bliss dresses!
I can clearly see and agree with your unamusement with these dresses.

Agreed! At least on flickr people try to put a bit of a spin on it. Those are out and out ripoffs for profit.

Disgusting! I just clicked the “Jacquline” dress link and it is exactly the same! Shame on you Bella bliss! At least I know I don’t have to go to a shop and think I am buying an original, my sewing machine will help me so that!

That really is disturbing Liesl! Their Jaquelyn is so clearly the School Photo dress, and their Blythe is the Playdate.

This dress is similar to the Fairy Tale dress. https://www.olivejuicekids.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=4267 I love the dress in plaid. I like this version.

This top is similar to the Sail Boat top. http://www.jacadi.us/VAD/children-s-clothing/t-shirts/striped-mariniere-t-shirt/p:2:1:7:243613.htm?from=c&niv=1099&position=8

This top is similar to the Book Report top part of the dress. I am going to make the Book Report dress as a blouse today and make a hem facing similar to this blouse. http://www.jcrew.com/girls_category/shirts/longsleeve/PRDOVR~99416/99102801984/ENE~1+2+3+22+4294967294+20~~~20+19+4294966332~90~~~~~~~/99416.jsp

I would not be amused either, Leisl. Those Bella Bliss dresses are identical to yours, down to the most minute detail. There’s no way they just happened to design something similar to yours.
