She was born at the Birth Centre (not part of a hospital, I’ve heard too many scary stories about US Obstetricians!). I was able to walk there!

All good, we were home within 5 hours. Settling in to life with three kids is going quite well!
Dorothy only wakes up once or twice to feed overnight. We are very lucky 🙂

Yes, I think it’s fine for older kids. You might need the buttons for smaller kids. It’s a proportion thing; little kids have much larger heads compared to their overall body size. It can be quite a challenge when I’m developing patterns!

i am sewing up a sample for 40 little aprons for the dance recital first weekend of May, which is also dd’s First Communion… I hope to get those out of the way so I can focus on her dress, which will be a Fairytale with a long circle skirt out of silk dupioni with long sheer chiffon sleeves (I think the 2+2 sleeve), and a jacket or capelet…[Read more]
