@liesl I am struggling with the collar on the Yanaka Jacket. Please help! I can’t understand which parts on step 5 need to be seen together. I though it was just the 2 ends but it doesn’t Sot right when step 6 completed x
It sounds like you’re doing it right–the two ends of the collar (the part that sticks out) need to be sewn together, and then you’ll sew the neck seam. The important part is to clip into the inside corner so that the neck seam is the same length as the collar in Step 6. That way both edges will be the same length. I hope that helps! The illustrations should orient you and help you to see exactly what to sew, clip, etc.
