I’m not sure where whether you’re aware of it, but there seems to be a very active demand for the “rare” Portfolio pattern. I’ve personally seen four sell on ebay for well over $60 in the last couple months. Clearly the fact that it’s out of circulation has some caché. On the other hand, there are many who’ve expressed a preference for the more demure neckline.
In short, I think this might be an opportunity to make the most of a bona fide marketing trend: perhaps put the pattern out as a Limited-Edition, in pdf form?
Naturally I want to see Liesl + Co. thrive and prosper, but I can’t disguise my selfish wish to own the lovely Portfolio pattern.
