Hello everyone. I thought I would explain a bit about why I’m dropping the Oliver&S patterns. I love the O&S patterns, and it’s been a hard decision for me. Without going into the specific math behind it, I’ve been struggling to keep my boutique fabric business afloat. I’m slowly easing out of all of the stock I carry beginning with the patterns.…[Read more]

Hi Sandi – usual price here is between $25 & $27AU (+ P/P), so you can see why I was excited by Amy’s sale prices! (Although sad too, as she is no longer going to be selling O+S patterns – they’re not that widely available here.)

Hi – just wanted to let everyone in Australia (well, everywhere I guess!) that Amy/badskirt’s got all her O+S patterns on sale for $16 (why, oh why did I just check her blog!)- she’s even got some Playdate’s left!

I can’t find numbers in either size of the patterns I have. Guess this means they were a later print and there are no errors??

I will try and remember to look at my copies when I go home for lunch this afternoon. Seems like you might be right though…

Okay so am I crazy or are there no numbers at all in the copyright box of the larger size of the puppet show? I spent a lot of time looking all over the pattern sheet for what might be the right number but now that I have gone and found the Sunday Brunch pattern sheet that was used as the example when Liesl first told us how to tell if we in fact…[Read more]

You will see from the rest of this thread a lot of people have trouble with this bit!! Make sure you have unfolded the main dress fabric (the placket) all the way back to the raw edge and sew together with the raw facing edge and the raw dress edge aligned. It is kind of counter intuitive because you have just been instructed to fold it all up and…[Read more]

I’m working on this pattern too, but have been nervous about taking that 1.5″ off yet. I think I remember reading some place Liesel telling us how to figure out if we have a corrected pattern. Will post if I can find it!

geez motherof5 – you’d never know the bushfire royal commission was still on over here with Mr Relaxed hubby 🙂
I have just cut out the pattern for my first try at the brunch jacket – is it straightforward? I have just washed a big batch of Denyse Schmidt County Fair home dec fabric and I’ll use two of those for it. I am very excited as they are…[Read more] -

I just finished my first Sunday Brunch Jacket. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I should have a pic on Flickr by Monday under justswatchme. I made a pj pattern based on the Zutano zutsuit, so I’ll make that next. I promised myself I wouldn’t start new projects until the last one is finished. After that, I think a tea party dress is…[Read more]
