Where would you prefer the length to be on her Nicole? I was thinking the same actually regarding the pattern. It starts at the six month size doesn’t it though? Are you thinking make now to grow into?
I would guess (strictly) it would fall around mid calf if this is any help but then I am in the same boat and have never made the tiny sizes and I…[Read more]

Thankyou my dear sweet forum friends!
My ankles have decided they want to be balloons so yes, I will be taking care of myself. The last thing I want is to spend my last weeks of pregnancy in hospital due to high blood pressure!
Nicole I hope Jed was ok. How extensive was the damage?
Our header is heading for the scrap heap and we have quickly…[Read more]

Agree re the after pants – they are the slimmest IMO – I love the sandbox pants but they are wide-ish at the bottoms
(Ahhh, but just realised you only have the larger size range for the after school….I think that you would be best making a 3/4T if she is long and skinny)

I love the fit of the After School pants. They are a nice slim fit although I do have to lengthen them a bit for my long skinny boys. The Sandbox are also a great fit and I’ve never had to lengthen them.
Good luck! -

Vienna at Christmas sounds amazing! When we lived in Washington (state) we visited the Bavarian village of Leavenworth around Christmas, they had a small Christkringlemarkt (I’m sure I’m not spelling it correctly) and it was so much fun.
And I’d LOVE to go see the Nutcracker ballet! Perhaps when Ellie and Olivia are older, we’ll live somewhere…[Read more]

I made Ellie a hopscotch dress recently in a jersey knit. I made a 2T with 4T-length sleeves (sorry I haven’t made a smaller size yet). I found the 2T to have enough length in the body but the chest is a snug fit. The crossover bodice comes up fairly high so modesty/too much peeking out in front isn’t an issue. My biggest concern are the sleeves -…[Read more]
