hi- most of us don’t dare go to spotlight at the moment – we are in lockdown for covid … also spotlight has just had its massive June 30 sale so the on-line stock levels may not be accurate … alternatively you may want to find a professional site that allows you to ship to a post box in Australia – and they then ship it on to the US … as we…[Read more]

Specifically – this https://www.spotlightstores.com/sewing-fabrics/dress-apparel-fabrics/woven-apparel-fabrics/pusheen-celestial-poplin/BP80450629
I am willing to PayPal you the cost plus shipping for a meter of this. Also have some older Oliver and S fabrics in yardage that I will swap.
Thanks,
Kate

Hi Lyndsey.
I bought my dad some silk pajama s a couple of Christmases ago after finding the pajamas cheaper than the fabric!
I reckon it’s a silk satin that you want. Silk seems to be variously measured in g per sq/m as we’re familiar with, but also in “mommes”.
I found one reference suggesting that “22mommes was ideal for lightwear, summer…[Read more] -

Hi there! I’ve been googling this like crazy but can’t find an answer. Hoping someone on this forum can help.
What kind of silk fabric is used for traditional men’s silk Pajamas, like the kind Audrey Hepburn wears in Charade? Is that silk satin? Charmeuse? I bought charmeuse but now I’m thinking that won’t have enough body.
I want to recreate…[Read more] -
