I’ve sewn with both Kaffe Fassett and Art Gallery cottons and they are both lovely!

If any of your local shops carry Art Gallery cottons, they are beautiful too and so nice to work with. They are made with Pima cotton and have worked well with all the garments I have made from them.

I agree ladies. I am thinking that with some nice panties with a couple of rise /waist options and tanks/camisoles, the pieces could easily be used for swim suits as well as athletic wear. I second @miss_sonja – I was actually going to ask for the same things – some well constructed girls undies (different styles), a tank, a camisole. I was even thinking about a slip to wear under very lightweight dresses rather than do a lining.

So, no wedding dress sewing yet. The wedding has no date, or location…just the participants so far! Just realised I’ve now modified all 4 pieces of the parachute pants. I added extra width to the hem to fit over the casts at the ankle better. I already made the waistband 2 pieces and changed the stripe into an overlap 🙂

Just finished the PJ side opening parachute pants before dinner, now onto the blue school uniform ones for tomorrow morning!
I thought I had an extra day before she went back to school but fortunately she is able to go back earlier than we initally thought 🙂

I third the trench coat for women! Would also like to second the under clothes idea. And more relaxed fit blouses for women.
