Liesl Gibson replied to the topic spring 2015 patterns – when?? in the forum sewing with liesl + co and oliver + s 9 years ago
Thanks for asking about this! I’m sorry to report that we won’t be releasing any new Oliver + S patterns this spring. All of my energies have been going into the upcoming book, which will be ready in early September. In the meantime, later this months we will be announcing some new Lisette patterns for summer. And come September you can also…[Read more]

Sew Alongs 9 years agoI would measure your arm from shoulder point to the widest part of your upper arm and then measure to the pattern to see if this corresponds and then do the same from the widest part down to the elbow and then again from elbow to wrist. This will give you a good indication of where you are shorter on your arm and where you need to shorten the…[Read more]

@jay_1965vw congratulations sweetheart! What a wonderful piece of news to share and she looks a very special treat. I am so glad she is content at the moment (my ChloΓ« was like that too) and that you are all doing well. Three isn’t as bad as what people say… I think it is just used as a deterrent myself! Hehehe
She was born at the Birth Centre (not part of a hospital, I’ve heard too many scary stories about US Obstetricians!). I was able to walk there! All good, we were home within 5 hours. Settling in to life with three kids is going quite well!
Dorothy only wakes up once or twice to feed overnight. We are very lucky π -

Sew Alongs 9 years agoThanks for the help. I found the group and uploaded my tunic in progress. I’m at the point where I’m considering how to shorten the sleeves (because I’m so short) and then I’ll be ready to finish it up.
More to come. -

Hello!
I’m back… well at least stopping by to say hi πWhen I went back to Australia for 5 weeks last year I got behind on reading, and I just never managed to catch up…
My big news – baby Dorothy Narelle arrived on March 14th! I haven’t managed to do any sewing yet, just a little knitting so far.
Apologies, I can’t read the news for the…[Read more] -

Yes, I think it’s fine for older kids. You might need the buttons for smaller kids. It’s a proportion thing; little kids have much larger heads compared to their overall body size. It can be quite a challenge when I’m developing patterns!
