Playtime does

    Hello!
    I am making the playtime dress for the first time in knit fabric. I have made several in woven. Has anyone made one without the button placket in the back? I am thinking to either use the facing & just extend to the back (not down the button placket) or line the bodice. If I line the bodice I am worried that it will be too heavy. Maybe a cotton lawn lining?

    I think I’ve made it in knit with the placket and it wasn’t a problem, but it’s been a while. And I know several people have eliminated the placket without problems, too. There have been many versions of this pattern–you could check the Flickr group or the Facebook group and probably find lots of examples.
