I made the dress with a large print. On the skirt the printed design on the fabric does not match at the side seams or at the back seam. Is there a way to cut the fabric to match at least the back center seam? It is not as noticeable on the bodice or under the arms, but it is on the back of the bodice.

For this, I think, you have to cut out each piece separately. If you are trying to match a stripe, for instance, you would place the pattern on the fabric, then mark on the pattern where the stripes are, at the seams where it will join another stripe. When you cut the next piece, you place the marking on the same stripe somewhere on the fabric. For a plaid, you might want to draw stripes in both directions. You can place pockets this way too. I hope this helps.
