I’m working on the carousel dress, and I’m so pleased with my French seams (which are still new to me). Can I do the same to attach the sleeves? The fabric is lightweight, and I’ve read on the O&S French seam tutorial that gentle curves will work as well, but I’m still nervous about it. Any advice would be welcome! Thanks!

I have French-seamed a lot of sleeves in my time. I haven’t seen the carousel pattern in person, but I’m sure it will work.

ETA: just looked at the line drawing. The raglan sleeve should make it easy. You could also flat lock it, but it’s hard to flat lock a long sleeve and side seam, and I prefer not to switch seam finishes in mid-project. That’s just a personal preference, though.
