Errata for printed pattern?

This might be a question for Liesl or Todd…. I bought the printed pattern a while back but am just now cracking it open. I just noticed the paper version is no longer available and there’s no errata for the digital version, presumably because any errors would have been fixed. Is there any way to check for any corrections needed on my printed pattern?

    Thanks a bunch!

I believe that if there is an errata for the printed pattern, it still shows up on the digital listing. In any case I have the printed Hopscotch and have made a few shirts and a skirt and I don’t think there was an errata.

Michelle I don’t remember anything being mentioned about this particular pattern having an errata. I do know there was one for the sketchbook pattern early on but I don’t think there is for this one.

    What size are you making?

I have made several shirts and a couple of skirts for my daughter and have no problems – I used the bigger sized pattern though.

No errata unless it’s on the pattern’s webpage. I believe the errata for paper patterns have been carried over into the digital listing but it will stipulate which version of the paper pattern is affected.

However, while there’s no errata, here’s a hot tip: https://oliverands.com/forums/topic.php?id=492

Which I forgot to make any note of and wished I’d remembered when I made a dress last week! (doh!)

There was one small one announced, three years ago. You can find that here: https://oliverands.com/forums/topic.php?id=434

I don’t know how old your pattern is, but there was a discussion on how to tell what printing you have, don’t know where that thread is, sorry.

*edited to add, I found the thread with the information: https://oliverands.com/forums/topic.php?id=1234#post-10116

Thanks everyone! I like those hot tips, I think that’ll save me some heartache when I’m sewing.

Yes, you’re right! There was a missing notch in the first printing of the pattern and when it went out of print and I removed it from the website I forgot to move the errata notice over onto the digital pattern page. It’s there now.
