Can anyone tell me exactly what fabric was used to make the cosy winter hoods in the book? I want to make some exactly the same, love it! Thanks x

I used a heavy wool coating for the hoods that are shown in the photographs, with a velveteen lining. If your local fabric store carries wool coating you’ll be able to find a similar quality, I’m sure. If you use velveteen for the lining, look for something that’s stiff rather than very drapey. Velvet tends to be very drapey when made in rayon or silk–you want real velveteen (which is made of cotton) in more of an upholstery weight. Hope that helps!

    Thank-you!
