I am thinking for making the hide and seek dress with a liberty lawn for spring/summer. However, it seems that the material is so light it would probably need a lining. Has anyone ever added a lining to this dress? Any ideas/instructions would be much appreciated!

The yoke is double fabric, so maybe you wouldn’t need one? Or what about making a slip dress to wear underneath? You could use the Pinwheel to make a simple slip that could be worn under other things as well. It wouldn’t be difficult to fully line it, but it might make it a bit heavy.

Has anyone made this with rayon challis? I have some printed rayon and not sure this would work with the pattern. I’ve made several before in cotton/linen/corduroy, but this challis is lovely with a border print.

I haven’t, but I think it would be lovely. Challis has a nice drape.
