our testers’ photos of the montauk trousers

Have you seen the new Montauk Trousers pattern yet? Yesterday, Liesl also posted some fabric and styling inspiration to sew up this versatile pattern. We know that it is also very helpful to see a pattern on different bodies and sewn up in different fabrics. So today we are rounding up photos of some of the trousers our testers sewed.
We've rounded up our testers' versions of the new Montauk Trousers pattern.

Are you ready to make your own pair yet? We’ll be running a challenge to sew this or one of our other soon-to-be-released spring patterns, so keep an eye out for that post. In the meantime, you can order your own Montauk Trousers pattern from our website in digital format. Don’t forget to show us what you made by uploading your photos to the Liesl + Co. Flickr group and tagging them #montauktrousers and #lieslandco on Instagram.

Oh thanks so much for this! I love the look of these pants, but I am more….upholstered (!) than Liesl or the mannequin! Most of the inspiration pics are women who are quite thin, too. There’s a bit more variety in this post and it’s much appreciated! Everyone did a super job on their pants!

My “upholstery” is a little more generous than the model pictures too, so it is always great to see a variety of shapes wearing a pattern. It helps me decide whether the style I am looking at is workable or wishful thinking.
      Great looking pants.
