If you’ve visited the shop section of the site over the last couple weeks you may have noticed that we’ve been rolling out some changes there. There’s some cosmetic stuff that will make your shopping experience easier. I won’t go into that. But I did want to highlight three things for you quickly.
First, we have added the ability for you to create an account when you check out. This will allow you to store your billing and shipping information for future use, to see the history of your past orders with us, to get tracking information on your orders that have shipped, and to have future access to re-download digital products you purchase.
Which leads us into the second change I want to mention. We’ve updated our digital product policy based on feedback we received from those of you who enjoy sewing with our digital patterns. Any digital products you purchase from us can now be downloaded up to four times, with no time-limit restriction on the downloads. Download a copy now. Download another next month, and another the year after that. When you download is up to you. And if you create an account when you place your order, you’ll be able to return to the site, log in, get your download link again, and see how many of your four download attempts you have used to date.
Finally, we’ve added the ability for you to provide you feedback on all our products. You can now submit a rating and a review for everything sold on the site. Have a favorite pattern or two you’ve sewn from? Let the world know what you think!
