Hi!
I am planning to try out the Saint-germain wrap dress this spring, but I am stuck with which size to choose as a starting point for my muslin. The main concern is the size for the top. My measurments are High-bust: 38,5, Bust: 42,7, Waist: 36,5, Hips: 44.
I am thinking I should choose a size 12 and the D-cup. But in the finished measurements…[Read more] -

Hi, I’m making the basic version of the BB dress for the first time, trying to follow instructions exactly as written without any variations. I have a question about how bulky the skirt placket is. I’m making the dress in a micro-wale corduroy (needlecord maybe?). Would the skirt placket in the corduroy be too bulky? Is this a good place to use a…[Read more]

Cynthia started the topic Terrace–fabric and flattery in the forum liesl + co: terrace dress 2 years ago
1. Would lawn or broadcloth be better for the Terrace? Or, maybe, there is something entirely different that I should consider?
2. I’m trying to hide a large belly. Would the Terrace be flattering?

Lissa started the topic sizes across patterns – yanaka jacket / easton cowl neck tee in the forum liesl + co: easton cowl-neck tee 2 years ago
If size 18 D-cup in the yanaka jacket fits very well with no alterations, should I choose XL D-cup or XXL D-cup for the Easton Cowl Tee?
I plan to use a lightweight jersey (about 50% stretch both ways) of cotton/bamboo/lycra blend.
Thanks!

That’s entirely your call! I think it’s nice to have something interesting at front and back but you get to be the designer here…

Is there a pattern piece for the greenery in the flower boxes? If so, where can I find it? I have the Little Things to Sew book, but I don’t see the pattern piece anywhere on the pattern sheets.

Is the bottom of the shirt enclosed in the yoke? When looking at the drawings it looks like it is. If not in which direction is the seam pressed and then top stitched. Up or down? Thanks again 🙂
