I agree, rolled hem on the left and an adjustable zipper foot on the right. Probably for a low shank machine 🙂

I agree with Robin. The on the right would work for piping, also, or anything where you need to sew very close to something that’s not flat.

krisherber started the topic Can I use woven bias fabric to bind edge of knit? in the forum off topic 10 years ago
I know I don’t have to bind knit edges, but am wanting to make a lap shoulder baby gown out of knit. Can I use a woven fabric cut on bias to bind edge to add some detail? Would it stretch far enough? I do not want to waste fabric trying it if anyone else has and discovered it won’t work…. ??? Thanks for input!

So funny! I was chatting with my hubby about that last night, too! I do that, too. I often wait to buy a pattern, and then when I finally do, I’m frustrated at myself I didn’t but it earlier, so I could have made more!

Hello ladies,
I am probably not alone in this. I often buy patterns because I really like and plan on doing one particular view that appeals to me. Yet I am often surprised at how it turns out.
I bought the afterschool for the top, which I’ve never made. Swore I wouldn’t make those pants, and I’ve made 4 or 5 pairs, but no top. My favorite…[Read more]

Liesl Gibson started the topic anyone want to hold a sample sale? in the forum off topic 10 years ago
Hello everyone! I have a crazy question and I’m just going to put it out there in case anyone want to take me up on it:
We have a large number of samples left over from pattern development and photo shoots, and I need to clear out some space in the studio. Over the years we’ve talked about holding a sample sale, but our workload is always so big…[Read more]

Here’s my guesses. The one on the left is for rolled hems and the one on the right is a zipper foot.

Good Morning/Good Evening!
Justsewit, will you post pictures somewhere of the pink smocked dress? I would so love to see it! Good luck on the patterns for your son. I admire those of you who make clothing for the older boys and the men in your lives. My little forays into that type of sewing have been unsuccessful and I no longer…[Read more]

I am currently printing and sticking various Jalie pdf patterns together in the hope that I can find something matching Noah’s size. He badly needs winter clothes and his birthday is on Saturday so I thought I would attempt to use these patterns to make him something. If they work, I will be measuring the husband and the workman aswell! There will…[Read more]

Well, thanks again for the advice. Very excited about completing the cape and rapt with how it turned out. I did the front and back panels vertical and the side panels horizontal. Looks great.

Hi Harmony — can you try posting a link to a pic of the feet? I tried to see if there was a broken link in your post that I could fix for you, but all I’m seeing right now is the plain text of your post.

So I’m moving house this summer and in the course of my packing I found these little beauties.
Anybody know what kind of feet they are?
