How does one sum up a week full of adventures and new friends? In the case of last week’s Creative Madrid tour, I don’t think it’s possible. We shared so many unforgettable experiences, so many laughs and meals and little meaningful details that build lasting friendships. I was delighted that the group did things together even outside of the planned activities of the tour, and I’m missing them now that they’ve returned home. But I know we’ll stay in contact, and maybe they’ll return again someday!
And guess what! We’ve scheduled another one:
March 6-12, 2027
More information below…
I’ve worked really hard to develop this itinerary, which is a balance of unique and unusual planned activities mixed with free time and lots of my suggestions for favorite places to eat, visit, shop, etc. The small group format works so well because it allows us to be a bit impulsive, to add in a little side trip here and there depending on the interests of the group. During the last tour we added a last-minute vermouth tasting, and this time we enjoyed went for foot massages, stopped for a quick drink at my favorite tavern, and stopped into a traditional bar that makes torrijas (the Spanish answer to French toast) in between our appointments.
We also went to a Real Madrid match (and we won the game, hurray!), took a flamenco class (I swear we could be professionals soon if we really wanted), and visited my apartment and studio, since everyone is always curious to see where and how I work.
March 6-12, 2027 will be our next one! We’ve already locked in the dates. Complete details and pricing will be available soon, but if you’d like us to hold a spot for you, no obligation, email me at [email protected] and I’ll contact you with the full details as soon as we have them.
I’d love for you to join us. It’s such a fun week and such a great way to be taken outside your usual routine and to find inspiration in a new place, with a new culture and new adventures. Join us!
