How fun is it to see how our testers sew each of the new patterns? Well, here we go with some of the wonderful samples of our new Northbridge Jump Suit. I know you like to see our patterns in other fabrics, sizes, and–most importantly–not on me, and our testers really delivered on this one.
Maria always picks cute fabrics for her testing. Isn’t this one great? I think it looks so cool on her, and it will be a perfect spring and summer outfit.
Jeanne and Shelley both chose great fabrics, too, didn’t they? I need to ask them where they shop.
Check out how Sue moved the ties to the side! I love this detail, and this neutral fabric is so perfect! She can add a jacket and a belt and get a totally different look! I think I’m experiencing a little fabric envy over here…
Caroline told us she wore hers to a fancy engagement party and got loads of compliments, and now it’s her go-to event outfit. That’s always to great to hear, isn’t it? I feel like, in this fabric, she could wear the jumpsuit almost anyplace. It’s so versatile!
Alice always finds such happy fabric! And that background looks really appealing, too. I think she may have just done a cartwheel!
I also love Kiran’s fabric! It’s a perfect mix of pattern and color and feels so fresh and easy to wear, doesn’t it?
If you’re having trouble finding fabric, don’t forget our handy list of on-line fabric retailers around the world. I’m keeping it updated, too, so you might want to bookmark it for future reference.
You can pick up your own copy of the Northbridge Jumpsuit in paper or in digital format. As always, I hope you’ll show us what you make with it. I love seeing the fabrics you choose, the ways you style it, and how you make it personal, so I hope you’ll tag us #lieslandco and #northbridgejumpsuit. We can’t wait to see what you do with it!

They all look wonderful. It is great to see the pattern made up on different bodies in different fabrics. And as someone still learning, I would love to know what fabric your testers did use. Thanks so much.
It’s absolutely awesome and would so suit a bigger person. Are you going to do larger sizes?
I’m glad you like them! We developed and released larger sizes for some of our patterns, but they didn’t sell, so we had to stop making them. I would love to keep making them, but I even have trouble finding testers for the larger sizes that we make now.
I just loved seeing all these different fabrics and all the different people wearing the pattern in a variety of ways.I did buy the pattern. I bought a cheap fabric to sew a toile, though that fabric is very nice, even though priced very low, so it may become a wearable toile. I have much more expensive fabric for the finished jumpsuit. I have been searching for a jumpsuit pattern. This is number 3 that I have purchased, but will be the first to be sewn because it overcomes issues I have with the first 2 patterns I bought. (Paper Theory Zadie: in the sample photos it looks too messy, sloppy, which I think may be due to the wrap construction, without sufficient anchoring, just a tie) (StyleArc Shannon looks good, but I know I cannot button 4 buttons behind my back). So, I am excited about Northbridge. I think the pattern perhaps ought to be shorted in the bodice for shorter waisted people. I may be one of them, and will need to measure. I do not want fabric pooching over my waist elastic. I thought I already posted, but don’t see it, so I hope this is not a duplicate. I said more this time, anyway.
I’m glad you like it! Yes, you can certainly shorten it if needed. The way it’s constructed, you can check the length of the bodice before you attach the trousers/skirt. So I hope it will be successful for you.
