speaking of smocking: lisette continental blouse

Since I showed you my smocked Badminton Dress for Sew Beautiful magazine yesterday, here’s a little something I smocked for myself! It’s the Continental Blouse pattern from our Lisette line of patterns with Simplicity. I changed the pattern a little bit and made it into a smocked tunic.

You can read all the details over at the Lisette blog. I really enjoyed making it!

Totally love this! I think you have caught the smocking bug Leisl! I want to smock this blouse using the Italian smocking method. It can lend itself really well to any smocking design.

  2. Very pretty!

This is so nice. Would you consider it for a class on creativebug? I would love to see how its done.
