Now that it’s March and Little Things to Sew has officially launched, we’re going to get things going with a pop-up blog tour. Instead of telling you in advance who will be reviewing the book, we’ll let you discover it for yourself on some of your favorite blogs and sites. Today the tour got started at The Purl Bee, one of my favorite sources of inspiration.
Keep an eye out for more reviews during the month. And we’ll post a wrap-up of the reviews here, in case you miss them.
I just purchased the book and I love it. I can’t wait to pick a project. My 4 yr old daughter picked out her favorite items and told me what the fabric should look like (mostly purple with pink polka dots) I’m so excited to get started.
The only thing i have to complain about your book is that the stickies you used to keep the patterns in place pull a got chunk of the nice lining paper of the hardcover. :/
other than that, i am loving your book so far. π
Love the book! I have completed the bucket had and small messenger bag. Soooo much more to do! Nice job.
It’s such a cute book. I received mine the other day and we are starting with the cape! I even have a divine red riding hood fabric to line it with. π
I agree with Kathya about the glue holding in the patterns. It ripped both the book and the pattern even though I was super careful. In other sewing books I’ve had, the patterns are in an envelope on the inside convers….maybe something to keep in mind for futire editions?? I covered my rip with a book plate!
