I have been to the French & British Couture (1947-1957 post-war) exhibit at the Frist Museum in Nashville – It is absolutely amazing. The clothing was beautiful and offered much inspiration in my own sewing creations. It’s also great the take someone with you (a parent or grandparent) who lived during the post-war era. They can really offer a lot of insight. Truly interesting and definitely worth seeing!
