I think you have to sew something (no pressure) as I really enjoy seeing your fit and precision! I love your idea of the shirt and maxi skirt. If you’re staying at the hotel then you could iron your clothes and change there? How about doing the shirt/skirt in two different jewel-like colours? Like a red washed silk blouse and more structured pink silk taffeta skirt. Very Roksanda Ilincic. Perhaps a little OTT. I now want this for myself!

You look to have quite a classic style, and like well fitted dresses. How about doing a really modern twist on the bistro dress which you’ve already fitted, and do something like this…?

Yes, same wedding. I don’t go to many! I will try to make something for myself, but it really is the busy time of year. I’m really tempted to re-do the floral dress above in the beige lace. I wouldn’t have to work too hard because I’ve already done the fitting.
