Hello Fellow Sewists,
I have made two everyday skirts and I love them because they are so easy to sew and wear! I’m not often a fan of elastic waists but this one is so cleverly done and looks great.

Now I want to make a new outfit and am considering pairing the skirt with the princess-seamed Lisette top B6183. The skirt will be a print and I’m…[Read more]

I finally got my tunic finished and photographed for the link party/giveaway. I am very happy with how it came out overall. It’s super comfortable and pretty. I will definitely make this tunic again (but next the dress version). Thanks for the tips and photos!

@liesl — Thank you for your reply. I did end up adding the placket, sleeves etc. and it fits just fine as is, yay! It’s really cute and I may even wear it out (even though it’s made out of a vintage sheet!). I just need to hem it and then it will be done. I am really looking forward to cutting out the pattern in my new Japanese double gauze.

This is my second sew-along here. I am excited to make this tunic because I think it will be a pattern I want to make more of for my wardrobe. I have a question about doing a FBA, which is always a bit tricky for me. With the Gallery Tunic, and it’s loose fit, I am not completely sure whether I need to do one. My high bust is 38.5″ and full bust…[Read more]
