<p>I&#8217;ve finally traced off my classic shirt pattern. I&#8217;ve discovered that I&#8217;ve already previously cut out the button planet and lost it&#8230; v annoyed with myself. Is it possible for me to use the placket from the recital blouse? I&#8217;d prefer to avoid buying another copy of the pattern. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m interested in sewing the marais dress in a non stretch woven fabric. I can size up, is there anything else I would need to do? I could cut some bits on the bias, but feel this would be option rather than a requirement?</p>
<p>I&#8217;d welcome any thoughts and ideas, and I&#8217;d love to hear if any testers used a woven. </p>

I feel like i need to grade to the XXL around the tummy then add a smidge more as i don&#8217;t want him to be self conscious. What&#8217;s the best way to do this? I&#8217;ve also made the dress using something horrible and slippy topped with a flimsy nylon with jewels on it (not my fabric choices!!). <p>I hope you manage to sort out a layette pic Susan, it&#8217;s such a lovely pattern. I&#8217;m going to lengthen a couple of bodysuits for my tall, slender nearly 3 year old. I&#8217;m a huge fan of french seams too, seems very appropriate on tender baby skin.</p>

I have cut the tulle longer than the dress.  I have sewn the dress by treating the tulle and fabric as one throughout. Due to the tricky nature of the fabric, which frays A LOT, I was planning to do french seams.  </p>
