Hello friends!

Will you be joining us for our Saint-Germain Wrap Dress sew-along? It starts in just over a week, and I’m hoping to have enough time to join you because I have the perfect fabric for another! I’ll show you soon, if all goes well.

In the meantime, I have spring pattern covers to sew and contests to judge, so I’ll keep this short!

Pinterest Picks

My favorite jeans are in need of some sashiko repairs, so I’ve got hand stitching on the mind this week. There are quite pretty.

Speaking of hand stitching, wouldn’t it be fun to add some to the bottom of a Bento Tee? Although with my personal minimalist tendencies I’m still quite partial to the simplicity of those pockets without any additional embellishments.

Speaking of hand stitches, aren’t these delicate additions pretty? I keep envisioning bugle beads along that trouser seam.

Do you love culottes on little girls as much as I do? These two are darling and could be easily replicated using our Lunch Box pattern. Maybe add a Butterfly Blouse for a similar silhouette, below left? I especially like the two scales of gingham, below right!

And on the subject of jeans, I’d like to try altering our Hollywood Trousers a bit for a more dressed-up jean similar to this one on Victoria Beckham. Also loving the winter white trousers, which has been on my sewing wish list for a long time now. I still haven’t found the fabric for it.
