This was the first bit of sewing I had done in years and I love the final product (and the process was good too!) My niece also loves the blouses I made her :) I have a number of other patterns now and I am looking forward to getting at them !

I finished the blouse recently and was really pleased. I feel like I ended up with a pretty special end product in a classic style that I wouldn’t easily be able to find ready-to-wear.

      Music Class Blouse and Skirt
Reviewed by Billie Houston on 09/22/2015
I love this pattern -- and so does my 8 year old granddaughter. The details make it very special and it was easy to construct. I made the skirt out of a dark brown bottom weight cotton/poly blend (perfect for the knife pleats that actually stay pleated after washing) and the shirt from a retro orange and dark brown small print -- flat metal buttons are perfect. Looking forward to making it again next year for the 3 year old.

      the cutest skirt ever
    Reviewed by Ann on 04/27/2015
I was surprised at how easy the skirt was to make. The pocket and pleats detail are what makes it look special. The skirt sits so beautifully in place when worn and the pleats allow extra room to move for on the go toddlers. It was my first time making pin tucks for the shirt and they turned out quite professional looking thanks to liesl's special tips.

This blouse is very sweet and went together perfectly. I used small dainty antique buttons which made the blouse very special.

  • Errata

There were two minor errors in the first printed version of this pattern. These errors have been corrected in the digital version of the pattern that is currently available.

    1. In the first printing of this pattern, the finished measurements for the Blouse Chest on the pattern envelope were printed incorrectly. The measurements, however, were printed correctly on the belly band that wraps the pattern envelope. Follow the measurements printed on the belly band, not the measurements on the envelope. The measurements on the envelope should read as follows:

      6-12M 12-18M 18-24M 2T 3T 4 5 6 7 8 10 12
      21"
      22" 23" 23

      27
      1/2"
      29" 30" 31
      1/2"
      32
      1/2"

    2. In the first printing of the size 5-12 pattern sheet, piece #3, the Back Yoke, has size lines with incorrect labels at the bottom. The piece should read as follows.

    Determining Which Printing You Have

As errata are discovered, they are marked for correction in subsequent printings of the pattern. To determine which printing of an instruction sheet or pattern sheet you have, look at the copyright box which appears on each. Toward the bottom of the box, there is a series of numbers.

The lowest number you see there indicates which printing you have. For example, if the lowest number in the box on the instruction sheet is "2," you have an instruction sheet from the second printing. Any errors in the instructions mentioned for the first printing have been corrected in your version. If the lowest number in the box on the pattern sheet is "1," you have a copy of the pattern sheet from the first printing.

Pattern sheets and instructions sheets can be printed separately, so be sure to check the errata notices for pattern pieces against the printing number on the pattern sheet and errata notices for instructions against the printing number on the instruction sheet.
