									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So unfortunatly I&#8217;m sewing a non Oliver S pattern.  I&#8217;m making a blazer.  The pattern calls for a half lining but I plan to extend it full length.  The lining has a pleat at the top to add ease.  My question is do I extend the pleat down to the hem or do I blend it out as it extends down to the hem?</p>

<p>It isn&#8217;t perfect, but good enough for a five year old boy in constant motion!  And, he liked it and sat still for me to learn to tie it!</p>

However, it annoys me greatly when the lining rolls out on the edge. So, I thought about pick stitching like on men&#8217;s suits. Does anyone know of any tutorials or done this before?  Is it just a running stitch?</p>

<p>Even if you don&#8217;t have much space&#8230;do you have room for a slack-line?  We just ordered one&#8230;after the kids played on a friend&#8217;s last weekend.  I&#8217;m hopeful it helps wear them out or at the very least keep them busy and out of the trees.</p>

I love familiar o+s patterns.  They take all the guesswork out of the equation!  Next up two pairs of shorts for my boy&#8230;then I&#8217;ll have some wiggle room in the laundry rotation.</p>
