5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Awesome instructions, as always, 11/13/2014

I sewed the Sketchbook Shirt (long sleeve, size 2T) for my godson for Christmas. This is the first time I've made a button-down style shirt, and I was expecting it to be a little tricky. The pattern was very easy to follow, though; it made the whole thing very straightforward. I love how the shirt came out, and I'm planning short-sleeve shirts for him for spring! It would be nice to have had a reference of what pages to print for each size, however. The way the collar pieces were tiled confused me so much that I decided to print out all the pattern pieces. I ended up wasting a fair bit of paper; a reference list could help avoid this minor issue. All-around a great pattern, though.

Loved this easy to follow pattern. I made white school shirts and they came out great. I will make many more over the years!

I made both the long sleeve and short sleeve versions of the shirt for my son's sixth birthday. He went with me to pick out some nice cottons, and they went together very quickly considering that I am such a slow sewer! The trickiest part was the yolk, but the directions were clear and there were no hitches. The only modification I made was snaps instead of buttons, for ease of dressing himself, and it's great. The shirts are comfortable and he wears them a lot already.

Took me very little time to sew these size 4T shorts up in a sturdy gray/white striped seersucker. The directions were complete and easy to follow. Would like to have instructions for using buttonhole elastic to make waist adjustable as I sew 6-12 months ahead of when they will be worn, and hate to have to guess on the waist measurement.

This pattern had easy-to -follow instructions and great results as with all Oliver and S patterns. I have only made the shorts so far. I loved the pleats and the flat front. This was my first faux fly. It was easy to do, thanks to clear instructions, and it looks like the real thing. My daughter, who is almost 12, really likes them. This was also my first digital pattern, and I was amazed at how easy it was to put together. I highly recommend this pattern!
