I was contemplating making a trick-or-treat bag for my kids but was undecided about what tutorial, etc. to follow.  But hey! <p>I spent the afternoon handstitching and both jeans jackets are almost complete&#x1f600;. I now have to go and hammer seams flat, topstitch, do buttonholes and the more handstitching &#8211; the buttons. Fingers crossed I get to do this all tonight.</p>

<p>I am not sure what Modal actually is, <a href='https://oliverands.com/community/members/needlewoman/' rel="nofollow ugc">@needlewoman</a> (off to Google) but it is very stretchy with great recovery but tricky to handle.</p>
<p>I may have likened it to sewing snot 😉</p>

I actually sized it up and it fit her for a good two years. She had outgrown the sizing but was still in the Oliver and s ranges. He tells me it tastes wierd (no offence to Canadian products or anything. I think he is used to the way it tastes at home). I have a generic walking foot (cheap on Amazon), and it and my 30 year old, 2nd hand machine (no special stitches) can tackle knit sewing just fine.
