If you length it I would use the 8 for the top with drafting a curved shape to the size 10 at the hips for coomfort. <p>Sarah&#8217;s dress is a deep purple color with pinks, tans and cream colors in it so we are going for a more non traditional colors. I love the idea of silk bow tie for all the three younger boys. </p>

I have made well over 25 of these in all the sizes and find the size fits spot on other length for tucking in. Now on the smaller sizes I leave the length alone for not tucking in, as shown on the pattern front.
