<p>If I am recalling this correctly, the pocket doesnt go all the way to the bottom of the side panel. It goes part way. Which makes sense, because if you have a lucky frog or a violin rosin in your skirt pocket, you don&#8217;t want to be bending over to fetch it from just above your knee. I&#8217;m also a huge fan of the poofy tulle skirt idea, but I have a violinist and she doesn&#8217;t have to negotiate with a piano bench at recitals. </p>

<p>ETA: just looked at the line drawing.  The raglan sleeve should make it easy.
